Our Story
While there are many modalities of energy balancing and healing available today, Spiritual Healing concentrates upon a connection with the Divine Source. Our emphasis is upon things that are Spiritual in nature, yet part of the physical nature of the universe.
Today, ASHA offers to the public free healing sessions and provides training to those wishing to become Healers.
ASHA has been operating as a non-profit society with charitable status since its incorporation in 1993. It was founded by Jack and Daphne Thomas and met for many years at The New Thought Church in the Killarney area of Calgary. Daphne and Jack were wonderful healers and organizers who mentored many other very successful Spiritual Healers.
In the late 1990's ASHA moved its location to the Calgary First Spiritualist Church in the West Hillhurst district and has space every Monday evening for Healing Sessions.
Thanks to the work of the founders for the time and energy they put into this organization, it is now a leading organization in providing avenues for healing and learning how to become a healer through its programs. It is a wonderful gift to those who attend in order to either give or receive Spiritual Healing.
ASHA is an affiliate member of the UK's Healing Trust.
ABOUT ASHA HEALERS
ASHA Healers are trained, certified and subject to Codes of Conduct.
Following training and the one-year probationary period, healers can earn their certification by completing an examination, providing testimonials of successful healings, and gaining the approval of the ASHA board with a demonstration of healing ability and knowledge.
ASHA is an association that developed through the work of the National Federation of Spiritual Healers of Great Britain founded in 1954 now known as The Healing Trust.
